These Terms and Conditions apply when you use the SolarLine website, request a quote, or choose to proceed with solar, battery, EV charging, or related energy services from SolarLine. By submitting an enquiry, accepting a quote, or engaging SolarLine, you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded.
SolarLine provides information, quoting, supply, installation, and support for clean energy solutions for Australian homes. Our services may include solar panels, battery storage, EV charging equipment, and related electrical or energy products.
Any quote we provide is prepared using the details available at the time, including the information you give us and, where required, the outcome of a site assessment. Unless your written quote states otherwise, a quote is an estimate and is valid only for the period shown on that quote.
Final pricing may change if property conditions, roof access, switchboard requirements, product availability, energy usage, network requirements, or rebate eligibility differ from what was originally assumed. If a change affects the price or scope, we will let you know before proceeding with that changed work.
If your quote refers to rebates, Small-scale Technology Certificates, government incentives, or other discounts, those amounts may depend on your eligibility and approval by a third party. SolarLine can assist with the process where available, but we cannot guarantee that an incentive or rebate will be approved.
If a rebate or incentive has been included in a quoted price and is later refused, reduced, delayed, or withdrawn for reasons outside our control, the final amount payable may be adjusted after we notify you.
An installation or supply agreement is formed when you accept a written quote and SolarLine confirms your booking or order. The accepted quote, any written special conditions, and these Terms and Conditions form the basis of the agreement between you and SolarLine.
If cooling-off rights apply under Australian law or an applicable industry code, those rights remain available to you.
You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the property for inspection, delivery, installation, commissioning, and support. You must ensure that you either own the property or have permission from the owner or relevant authority to proceed with the work.
You are responsible for giving accurate information about the property, including roof type, electrical systems, access limitations, existing faults, strata or owners corporation rules, and any other matters that may affect the work.
SolarLine aims to arrange installation work using appropriately qualified people and in line with relevant Australian Standards, product requirements, network requirements, and accepted industry practice. Some systems may require approval from an energy network, retailer, or other authority before they can be fully connected or activated.
Where SolarLine assists with a connection or network application, timeframes may depend on third parties and are not fully within SolarLine's control.
Products supplied by SolarLine may be covered by manufacturer warranties. Workmanship warranties, where applicable, will be set out in your quote, agreement, or warranty documents. These warranties operate in addition to your non-excludable rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Warranty coverage may not apply to faults or damage caused by misuse, unauthorised changes, lack of maintenance, severe weather events, external damage, pre-existing electrical issues, or work carried out by someone not authorised by SolarLine or the manufacturer.
Payment requirements, including deposits, progress payments, final payments, and payment due dates, will be shown in your quote or agreement. If finance is offered, it may be provided by a third-party finance provider under separate terms. SolarLine is not responsible for the finance provider's approval process, fees, or contract terms.
You must tell SolarLine before installation if anyone at the property relies on life-support, medical, or other sensitive electrical equipment. Installation and commissioning work may require power to be switched off temporarily.
Before any planned interruption, you should protect appliances and equipment where practical, including switching off or unplugging sensitive devices. To the extent permitted by law, SolarLine is not responsible for damage caused by pre-existing faults, unsafe wiring, or a failure to follow reasonable safety instructions.
You may cancel during any applicable cooling-off period without penalty. After that period, cancellation may result in reasonable costs being charged where SolarLine has already incurred expenses, ordered products, booked installers, or completed preparatory work.
SolarLine may reschedule or cancel work if circumstances beyond our reasonable control make the job unsafe, impractical, unavailable, or non-compliant. Examples may include product shortages, unsafe site conditions, weather, access restrictions, network delays, or regulatory changes.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, SolarLine's liability for goods or services may be limited to resupplying the goods or services, repairing the goods, or paying the reasonable cost of resupply or repair. These terms do not exclude, restrict, or modify any consumer guarantees or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
